Stephenson & Losh
This impressive steam locomotive was result of the combined effort of William Losh and George Stephenson. The engine featured a unique steam spring support for the 4 driving wheels, this was designed to reduce wear and tear on the railway lines but in reality proved difficult to maintain. This engine clearly demonstrates George Stephensons ability as a great railway engineer, constantly inventing and improving on his previous engines.
